Who is the Middletown Beautification Committee?
Founded in February of 2003, we are a group of Middletown Township Residents who have been appointed to serve as an advisory committee to the Board of Supervisors on all matters pertaining to illegal littering and dumping within the Township. Middletown Township has recognized that litter needs to be controlled as a quality of life issue and a factor in promoting economic and community development. Further, the Township acknowledges that litter pollutes ground and surface waters, decreases property values, attracts other types of crimes, drains the community self worth, injures wildlife and causes accidents. Mission Statement The Middletown Township Beatification Committee is committed to preparing, organizing and implementing plans, programs and activities designed to educate, create public awareness and promote involvement concerning the elimination of trash, litter and graffiti, and to the beautification of Middletown Township, Bucks County, PA. Community Pride Littering is not only an eyesore; it is a crime. Roadways have been cleaned, only to be trashed again. We need to clean up our community...and keep it clean!
